Since the 1980s his photography is centered around the structures of urban development and suburban periphery, including aspects of architecture and mobility. During long-term projects Joachim Brohm creates image-archives about places and edges in relation to the transformative powers of urban, economic and cultural developments. Part of my creative process is working with these archives, they can take on various forms of display by exhibiting and publishing.
